I/we, the undersigned, have read and fully understand the home school laws for South Carolina as defined in the SC Code of Laws section §59-65-47 (Option 3). I/We agree to conduct our home school in the manner in which the law states and to meet or exceed the requirements including, but not limited to 180 instructional days of schooling. I/We agree to maintain all records required including, students work, test results, copy of this association's enrollment application, daily school log of assignments/work issued and performance results. In the event our home school is questioned by authorities within the state of South Carolina, I/We agree to notify and provide all necessary documentation the law requires to IOE immediately if it becomes necessary for IOE to issue a statement of compliance of my/our membership, academic transcript, and/or standing with this association. I/We will promptly and properly complete and return the IOE Scholastic Record Form at the conclusion of our school year. I/We understand that complete and accurate course records will be necessary for an official transcript from IOE and will furnish by posted deadlines. By signing this application, I/We are the parents/legal guardian of the children noted above and have read fully this section.
